The concept of incremental growth is both powerful and achievable. Inspired by James Clear’s book Atomic Habits, it highlights how small, consistent actions can lead to remarkable transformations over time. Instead of overwhelming ourselves with big resolutions, why not aim for just 1% improvement each day?

I often overlook the power of small changes, especially in a world that glorifies instant results. When progress isn’t immediate, I quickly default to impatience and frustration. However, Clear shows that tiny adjustments in our habits can add up to significant outcomes. For example, improving just 1% each day would make us 37 times better by the end of the year!

I’ve often set the goal to read more books, but consistency (in many areas of my life) has been a challenge. So I’m committing to reading just five pages daily. It’s a small, manageable goal that won’t overwhelm my schedule, but I know over time, it will enhance my knowledge, perspective, and, most importantly, my discipline. Every small habit, practiced consistently, can lead to meaningful change. The key is making progress without feeling overwhelmed. Little steps, over time, lead to lasting change.
