January 3: I Can Do It!

We all experience moments (or extended periods of time) when our fears and doubts hold us back from achieving our dreams. These limiting beliefs can sneak up on us and become roadblocks on our path to success. The inspirational Louise Hay's teachings showed me that replacing the negative thoughts and noise that ran inside my head with positive words of affirmation can change my life experience.
How many times have we said to ourselves, “I can’t do that” or “I’m not good enough”? These thoughts may seem minor, but they can erode our confidence, our spirits, and keep us stuck. Changing our limiting beliefs takes time, practice, and self-compassion. Today, be aware whenever fear in forms of hesitation, excuses, or negative feelings, creeps up, remind yourself: "I can do it!" and take that simple action whatever it may be to push forward. We’re all capable of achieving more than we think!
